Carlo was full time Creative Director and Design Director for Kilgour from 2003 until the time that the brand was sold in 2009, and then again as a freelance Creative Director from 2013- 2017 for new owners. During this time he designed all collections, designed all the flagship spaces, interiors and semiotics, winning several awards for design including Menswear Fashion Designer of the year in 2005, and was voted GQ UK's Most Stylish man.  During this time Carlo completely re invented Kilgour twice, fusing the principles of art with craft, establishing the house to be a contemporary functioning bespoke tailor and menswear brand, and winning several awards for design including Menswear Designer of the Year in the UK.


Carlo worked with many prominent men who excelled in their chosen creative fields, Daniel Craig, Karl Lagerfeld, Chris Dercon,  David Chipperfield, David Adjaye, Chris Ofili, Matthew Slotover, Charles Asprey, Peter Saville, Nick Knight, Kraftwerk, Bryan Ferry, Bobby Gillespie, and Okwui Enwezor have all been long term collectors of Carlo's work.
